Several bills aiming to legalize sports betting in Virginia are being considered. Only one, however, puts fans first: HB 2210. Introduced by Delegate Marcus Simon (D 53rd), HB 2210 would protect all of Virginia's sports fans by guaranteeing the integrity of the game, creating transparency in the marketplace, securing privacy for bettors, allowing for self-exclusion, providing for at-risk communities, and allowing for recourse.
